As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve on a daily basis, it’s clear we’re all facing unprecedented challenges. We are all in this together and we want you to know we’re doing everything possible to protect the health of our employees, customers and communities while still delivering superior customer service.

Our technical support, while largely working remote, is still live and available from 7:00 AM to 4:00 AM EST, 7 days a week via email and phone. You can email Support@apexsupplychain.com for assistance or call 800.229.7912 Option 3 to speak to a representative. Onsite support will be determined on a case-by-case basis, keeping safety top of mind.

As COVID-19 federal and state containment measures change on a near-daily basis, required measures may delay our ability to meet some service commitments in the short term, but please know that we will address your issues as quickly as possible.

As always, it’s important to follow best practices for cleaning Apex devices and kiosks. Below are our recommended instructions for keeping their various surfaces clean.

  • The keyboard/keypad can be wiped down with a mild soapy solution applied with a damp cloth.
  • If spray cleaner is used it MUST be applied to a soft microfiber cloth and then disposed in the trash. Do NOT spray any cleanser directly on any surface and particularly any electronic components.
  • Do NOT use bleach or alkaline-based cleansers.
  • DO NOT use strong solvents (ammonia for example) to avoid damaging printed surfaces.
  • DO NOT use a very wet (saturated) cloth, which could lead to liquid seeping into the electronic components.

CLEAR POLYCARBONATE DOORS / WINDOWS – Axcess 6000 / Axcess 6100 / Axcess 6500 Lockers

Gently wash the window with a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water, using a soft, grid‐free cloth or sponge to loosen any dirt or grime.

With regard to disinfecting the polycarbonate door handles on the Axcess 6000 and 6100 Series, we want to clarify and expand the list of disinfectants that can be utilized, as we realized some disinfectants we recommend have long lead times.

  • Clorox Healthcare® Bleach Germicidal Wipes
  • Clorox Healthcare Hydrogen Peroxide Cleaner Disinfectant Wipes
  • Clorox Healthcare VersaSure™ Cleaner Disinfectant Wipes
  • Isopropyl alcohol – must be diluted to 70% and room temperature
  • Hydrogen Peroxide – must be diluted to 3%
  • Household bleach – must be diluted as instructed on the bottle (generally down to 10%)

With any liquid product, you must spray solution on a cloth, wipe down the door, and then wipe clean.

You may also use disinfecting wipes as long as the active ingredient is Sodium Hypochlorite diluted.

  • Do not use Lysol and Clorox disinfecting wipes as they are both alkaline based.

Do not use alkaline-based cleansers, which could damage the surfaces of your devices.

  • If spray cleaner is used it MUST be applied to a soft microfiber cloth and then disposed in the trash. Do NOT spray any cleanser directly on any surface and particularly any electronic components.
  • Do NOT use bleach or alkaline-based cleansers.
  • If water will not remove the residue, be sure to use an appropriate cleaner such as Brillianize® and a soft cloth. Never use abrasive or high-alkaline cleaners.
  • To prevent water spotting, repeat rinse with clean water and dry the surface with a soft cloth.
  • Do not clean polycarbonate in direct sunlight or at high temperatures as this can lead to staining.

Important:

  • Never use aromatic or halogenated solvents.
